Runners, Sponsors, Volunteers Needed

The Seminole Chamber of Commerce will present the 17th Annual Seminole Stampede on Saturday, April 3, 2010, at Walsingham Park, 12620 102nd Ave., Seminole, FL. The event, beginning at 7:30 a.m., features a 5k and 1mile run/walk. Winners will be presented trophies or medals, and all 1 mile participants will receive a ribbon. After the "Awards Party," there will be a Family Easter Outing (egg hunt) conducted by Seminole First Baptist Church.

There will be a Pre-race Expo and Packet Pickup on Thursday, April 1, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Jim Graden's Cardio Karate Center, 9104 Seminole Blvd., Seminole FL.  

The Chamber is looking for sponsors to help defray the cost of the Stampede, and volunteers to help both with the preparation for April 3 and with responsiblities that day. Please contact Gretchen Cain Wells at 392-3245.
