Creating new jobs for the Seminole area is a high priority for the Chamber. It is a partner of the Economic Development which works with existing business and industry looking to expand, helps recruit new business and industry to the area through various means and nurtures the entrepreneurial spirit by helping new businesses get off the ground.

A national study of 2,000 adults in 2011 by the Schapiro Group showed that when respondents were told that a particular small business was a member of its local chamber, they were 44 percent more likely to rate it favorably than study respondents who were not told of the chamber affiliation. Respondents were also 63 percent more likely to want to purchase goods or services from a small business that is a chamber member. When searching for business and services, people call the Chamber of Commerce on a weekly basis. The Chamber has the reputation for providing the stamp of approval and being local authority on area business.

When you invest in the Chamber you strengthen your voice concerning important business and quality of life issues. The chamber monitors these issues and relays the information to members so they can make decisions in the best interest of business.
Chamber events offer members the opportunity to meet fellow business professionals, cultivate new clients and keep informed on the latest business happenings and activities. The Chamber coordinates business luncheons, specialty seminars, grand openings/ribbon cuttings and numerous other events.

Members, upon request, may receive one set of mailing labels for a small fee. These membership mailing lists help you in your marketing, direct mail and advertising programs.

It’s also a popular site for people planning to come to the area either as tourists or to relocate. A membership directory allows viewers to get to your website quickly, also. It has one of the most comprehensive Events Calendar in the entire community. And it’s a fun site chockfull of photos of Chamber events such as our annual golf outing, illuminated night parade, annual Pow Wow parade, Kids Appreciation Day,

This is a publication exclusively featuring our members. The Membership Directory is distributed throughout the Chamber membership and to the public. Newcomers to the area receive the directory when utilizing the Chamber relocation information service.

Community & Business Information Center
The chamber is the gathering place for ideas and information. We distribute membership directories, maps, as well as tourist and business information. Providing direction for new business start-up, organizing ribbon cuttings and special event planning are also among the services the Chamber provides. We are the one-stop community resource center for economic, relocation and demographic information.
Use of Chamber Conference Room and Business Development Center
The Chamber’s conference room can accommodate up to 18 comfortably and is equipped with a 42” LCD TV. The Business Development Classroom can hold up to 40 and is also equipped a 60” LED TV. Both televisions have integrated computer programs and support. The entire complex is WiFi compatible. Ample parking is available to you.
